Spring ’23 AUL Undergraduate Leadership Fellows
Hailey Davis is a fourth-year psychology major minoring in political science. She is from Tuscaloosa, Alabama but found her second home here at Auburn University. One of her favorite parts of working for the AU Library is being able to preserve historical records and building public awareness of Alabama's exceptional national history. As a previous student worker for the department of Research and Instruction, she is looking forward to continuing her research as an AUL Fellow.
Mathew Nagle is a first-year student studying Computer Science who finds himself invested in all the technological facilities that the AU Library has to offer. He will be working in the Special Collections and Archives department. As an AU Library fellow, he will be able to apply his technical knowledge in developing practical web applications and team-based environments. He is happy to assist in the push for equity and inclusion in the libraries and tech. Mathew is thrilled about his work ahead of him and the experiences to be learned from his fellowship.
Erin Riley is a third-year student studying English Language Arts Education. She has worked in the Special Collections and Archives since autumn of 2021 and is excited to highlight its treasures on the Auburn Libraries social media pages. As a student studying the English language, she has learned the value of various works in the Special Collections and how social media can be used to connect people across continents, oceans, and cultural barriers to what Auburn has to offer. Skylar Park is a junior studying fine art. He is originally from Guntersville, Alabama but Auburn feels like home now. He has always loved libraries since he was six and got his first card. He now collects Library cards from everyone he visits. Skylar is very excited to have this opportunity to work with technical services and looks forward to the semester ahead.
Ben Rogers is a sophomore studying Exercise, Performance & Health Optimization with a minor in Sports Coaching. He has been a systems student worker since the summer of 2021, and hopes to represent the invaluable behind the scenes work his department does. As an AU fellow, he strives to be a leader in his systems department, and will be responsible for the videography and postproduction of the Discover Auburn Lecture Series. Ben is excited to do the best he can with his work, and to see how he grows this semester as a fellow.
