Hailey Davis is a fourth-year psychology major minoring in political science. She is from Tuscaloosa, Alabama but found her second home here at Auburn University. One of her favorite parts of working for the AU Library is being able to preserve historical records and building public awareness of Alabama's exceptional national history. As a previous student worker for the department of Research and Instruction, she is looking forward to continuing her research as an AUL Fellow.
Mathew Nagle is a first-year student studying Computer Science who finds himself invested in all the technological facilities that the AU Library has to offer. He will be working in the Special Collections and Archives department. As an AU Library fellow, he will be able to apply his technical knowledge in developing practical web applications and team-based environments. He is happy to assist in the push for equity and inclusion in the libraries and tech. Mathew is thrilled about his work ahead of him and the experiences to be learned from his fellowship.
Erin Riley is a third-year student studying English Language Arts Education. She has worked in the Special Collections and Archives since autumn of 2021 and is excited to highlight its treasures on the Auburn Libraries social media pages. As a student studying the English language, she has learned the value of various works in the Special Collections and how social media can be used to connect people across continents, oceans, and cultural barriers to what Auburn has to offer. Make sure to follow @aulibraries on Instagram and Twitter and Auburn University Libraries to get a glimpse into the unique collections of the Archives!
Skylar Park is a junior studying fine art. He is originally from Guntersville, Alabama but Auburn feels like home now. He has always loved libraries since he was six and got his first card. He now collects Library cards from everyone he visits. Skylar is very excited to have this opportunity to work with technical services and looks forward to the semester ahead.
Courtney Stewart is the current Digitization of Research Data Fellow and a senior studying Computer Science with a focus in artificial intelligence. She holds an Associate’s in Arts degree for music from Pensacola State College, and was drawn to the fellowship for its mission to increase the accessibility and preservation of research data. Through her fellowship with the AU library, she has been given the opportunity to explore the information science and data analysis sector, in addition to cultivating experience with diverse skills including video editing that allow her to merge her technical interests with her penchant for creativity. She has enjoyed discovering the many resources AUL has to offer, and appreciates the culture of diversity and inclusion that the libraries strive toward. The affirming space she has been granted through the fellowship empowers her to explore her strengths, and feel that her voice is heard.
